Description
Our client is seeking an associate to join their Emerging Data Privacy Trends practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, specifically defending employers and technology enterprises in data privacy class actions and appellate cases across federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. Preferred experience includes handling cases related to privacy statutes, ransomware, data breaches, session replay/wiretapping, pixel tracking, and right of publicity. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and strong written and oral advocacy skills, with an Illinois bar admission required. The practice is renowned for its proactive approach to privacy litigation, having managed over 150 privacy-based class actions and is adept at navigating cutting-edge technology and novel legal theories.
