Description
Our client is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join their Finance & Transactions team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work within a cohesive and collaborative team, engaging in a diverse multidisciplinary practice. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of transactional/M&A experience, primarily focused on private company M&A, private equity, and venture capital work. Experience with private equity/sponsor clients on acquisitions, dispositions, and growth equity/VC is essential. The candidate should be capable of leading initial deal stages, such as negotiating term sheets and drafting purchase/merger agreements, and managing multiple matters simultaneously. A J.D. degree with strong academic credentials and admission in New York (or steps towards it) is required.
