Description
Our client’s National Security/Global Trade Controls group is seeking an associate with 2-6 years of experience to join their team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory programs administered by CFIUS and parallel non-U.S. FDI regimes, export controls, and sanctions. Experience with NISPOM and FOCI mitigation is desirable. Responsibilities include providing legal advice on CFIUS and FDI filings, counseling on U.S. export control regulations and sanctions compliance, developing compliance programs, conducting due diligence and risk assessments, and addressing FOCI concerns. Top credentials, excellent writing skills, and D.C. Bar admission (or eligibility) are required.
