The role involves advising innovative companies on export control, sanctions, foreign direct investment reviews, and trade policy. Candidates should have at least four years of relevant experience, particularly in trade and economic sanctions, U.S. export controls (EAR and ITAR), OFAC, and national security issues, including compliance counseling and government enforcement proceedings. Admission to the D.C. bar is required, along with superior academic credentials and excellent communication skills. Experience with technology or life sciences companies is advantageous.
