Description
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with 4 to 5 years of experience to join their Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of environmental law, including regulatory compliance and enforcement defense, and have experience in state energy regulatory proceedings before public utility commissions, particularly in Virginia and Maryland. Responsibilities include reviewing and drafting testimony, presenting and cross-examining witnesses, drafting legal motions and briefs, conducting legal research, participating in discovery, commenting on proposed rules, and reviewing and drafting legislation. Candidates must have superior academic credentials and be licensed in Virginia, with Maryland licensure being advantageous.
