OIL, GAS AND RESOURCES ASSOCIATE (0302)
Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a midlevel Oil, Gas, and Resources associate to join their team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the regulatory activities of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department of Energy, dealing with issues related to interstate natural gas, oil, and oil product pipelines’ operations and policies, natural gas trading operations, FERC Natural Gas Act Sections 3 and 7 proceedings, and Department of Energy regulations for imports and exports of natural gas, among others. The ideal candidate should have three to five years of experience practicing law, with at least three years of experience specifically focused on the regulated natural gas and LNG industry. Additional prior experience in energy law, administrative law, or litigation would be beneficial.
