Description
Our client, based in San Diego, California, is seeking a highly skilled Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in biological sciences, such as immunology, virology, molecular biology, cell and gene therapy, biochemistry, cell biology, or genetics. The primary responsibilities of this role include developing patent filing strategies, preparing patent applications, analyzing office actions, and preparing responses under the supervision of an IP attorney. The candidate will also conduct patent prosecution-related activities, assist in patent litigation, support intellectual property licensing transactions, and manage multiple client deadlines effectively. Applicants must have passed the patent agent examination and possess at least 3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. The role demands a candidate with exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
