Description
Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Patent Agent with an engineering or computer science degree and a minimum of two years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution to join their Intellectual Property group. This role is available in the Charlotte, Atlanta, or Boston office. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or related fields and will collaborate with attorneys and clients across various industries, including the medical device sector. Responsibilities include managing U.S. and international patent portfolios, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting due diligence investigations, and performing freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and be registered to practice before the USPTO.
