Description
Our client’s Patent Prosecution and Counseling group is seeking an experienced patent agent with a background in organic chemistry to join their team in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in patent prosecution at the USPTO or in a law firm, excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills, and sharp analytical ability. A Ph.D. in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or similar specialties is preferred, though candidates with an M.S. and appropriate experience may also be considered. Competence in understanding chemical structures and properties is essential, and PTO registration is strongly preferred. Technical specialists with relevant experience and the ability to sit for the patent bar will also be considered.
