Description
Our client is seeking a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to join their esteemed Life Sciences Patent Counseling and Prosecution Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in patent prosecution, particularly in representing pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. Key responsibilities include drafting patent applications, managing domestic and international dockets, preparing responses to Office Actions, and conducting due diligence and freedom to operate analyses. Candidates should possess an advanced degree in Biology, with a PhD preferred, and be a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior experience in a law firm and as a scientist is strongly preferred. The role requires working in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment, and involves frequent communication with colleagues and third parties.
