Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Life Science Patent Agent to join their team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in patent prosecution, particularly in pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, natural products, and ag-bio sectors. A Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, biology, or a related field is required, along with registration before the USPTO. The role involves supporting attorneys with patent counseling, portfolio analysis, patent opinion work, post-grant proceedings, and litigation support. This position offers the chance to work with a nationally recognized life sciences group on high-profile Hatch-Waxman matters for leading pharmaceutical companies. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
