Description
Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a Life Sciences Patent Agent or Patent Attorney to join their renowned Life Science Patent Prosecution and Counseling Team. This role is primarily based in the Silicon Valley or San Francisco offices, with flexibility for experienced candidates in other locations. The position involves engaging in a variety of patent projects, including drafting, prosecution, and due diligence, with a focus on clinical testing and approved drugs. The team is recognized for its expertise across diverse sciences, technologies, and industries, serving a wide-ranging client base from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Patent Agent, a master’s degree (preferably a PhD) in Organic Chemistry or a related field, or 2-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution on small molecule pharmaceuticals.
