Description
Our client is seeking a medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry patent agent or patent specialist to join their Intellectual Property – Patents Group in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in medicinal or organic chemistry or a closely related field. While previous experience in patent law is not required, candidates must possess strong technical skills, excellent writing abilities, and exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities include engaging in technical discussions with inventors, drafting and prosecuting patent applications for emerging technologies, coordinating international patent prosecution, conducting prior art searches, and managing patent portfolios.
