Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Patent Agent to join their renowned Intellectual Property Practice Group. The role involves preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and can be based in various locations including Boston, Chicago, Houston, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an intellectual property partner and collaborate with other partners in the group, providing high-quality legal services to both domestic and international clients. Key responsibilities include conducting prior art searches, patentability analysis, IP due diligence, and engaging in practice development activities. Expertise in life sciences, particularly molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry, is essential.
