Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual with at least one year of law firm experience and a degree in material, chemical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering to join their patent counseling and prosecution practice. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and knowledge across various disciplines and technologies within chemical engineering or material science. Responsibilities include conducting prior art database searches, analyzing patent and scientific documents, assisting patent attorneys, and drafting patent applications and responses. Candidates must have excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English, broad scientific knowledge in mechanical or biomedical engineering, and be a registered US patent agent or eligible for the USPTO registration exam.
