Description
Our client is seeking a patent associate for its Intellectual Property group in various locations including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Kansas City, Miami, Phoenix, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. Candidates must be registered to practice before the United States Patent Office and preferably have a degree or experience in software, particularly in artificial intelligence and machine learning. A minimum of one to three years of experience in interviewing inventors, drafting, and prosecuting patent applications, including overcoming rejections under 35 U.S.C. §101, is required. Ideal candidates will be self-starters, capable of working independently within a team, and possess excellent communication and writing skills. Law firm experience is strongly preferred.
