The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in drafting, preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications, specifically for software technologies such as operating systems, middleware software, directory servers, network management, virtualization, and cloud computing. A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, along with experience as a software developer, is required, and candidates must be admitted to the USPTO.
