PATENT COUNSELING ASSOCIATE (1032)
Description
Our client is seeking a Bio Patent Counseling Associate with 4+ years of patent counseling and prosecution experience to join their Intellectual Property group. This team is exclusively focused on the life sciences industry, handling critical patent development, protection, and enforcement issues for both small and large molecules. They represent both pre-public and discovery stage biotechnology pharmaceutical companies as well as established, publicly traded international pharmaceutical companies in worldwide patent portfolio development. The role involves prosecution and counseling to due diligence, transactions, and infringement defense and avoidance. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline and must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Experience in strategic international patent portfolio development, life cycle management, non-infringement and invalidity analysis, post-grant proceedings and IP due diligence is required.
