Description
Our client, a prominent trans-Atlantic law firm, is seeking a Technical Advisor or junior Patent Agent to join their Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Biotech Team. This role is based in either Boston or Raleigh, with options for hybrid or remote work. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an Intellectual Property Partner and collaborate with a team of life science legal professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity for scientists interested in transitioning to patent law, with training in patent prosecution provided. Key responsibilities include applying advanced life sciences concepts, particularly in molecular or cell biology, drafting patent applications, and conducting prior art searches. Candidates should possess a PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Cell Biology, or a related field, along with strong writing and research skills.
