Description
Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking a highly qualified patent prosecution associate or patent agent to join their expanding intellectual property practice group. This opportunity is open to any office location, with a preference for candidates located in the Southeast. The ideal candidates should possess a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry, with an advanced degree and/or prior work experience being strongly preferred. In addition, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the IP field, with emphasis on drafting and patent prosecution, and must be members of the USPTO. State bar membership, or the ability to gain membership, is required for associates. The client is looking for candidates who are ambitious, keen on career development, able to work with a national/international client platform, and demonstrate superior client service ability.
