Description

Our client, a leading intellectual property firm, is seeking a patent prosecution associate to join their Minneapolis office. This role involves working on innovative technologies for top-tier clients alongside esteemed legal practitioners. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or physics, with significant experience in writing about mechanical or medical device concepts. Candidates should have 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications for medical and other mechanical and electrical devices. An interest in incorporating IPR work into your practice is essential. Active state bar membership, compliance with CLE requirements, and registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office are required. Superior writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong analytical abilities are crucial, along with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients and colleagues.
