Our client is seeking a patent prosecution associate eager to engage with cutting-edge technology for leading tech companies. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling diverse technologies, from rocket engines and satellite systems to neural networks, automation, and robotics. This role requires technical expertise to communicate effectively with engineers and developers, alongside the confidence to interact with major tech industry players. The position offers significant partner and client interaction and unique opportunities within a global law firm environment. Responsibilities include prosecution and patent counseling, with potential involvement in related legal work. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, preferably in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Houston, or Washington D.C., and hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or computer science, along with a law degree from an ABA-accredited institution. U.S. bar membership and registration with the United States Patent & Trademark Office are required.
