Description

Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a highly qualified patent prosecution associate or patent agent to join their dynamic Intellectual Property Practice Group. This role is open to any location, with a preference for candidates based in the Southeast. The ideal candidate should have experience in IP, specifically in drafting and patent prosecution, and possess a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry. Advanced degrees and/or prior work experience are strongly preferred, as is membership in the USPTO. Candidates should have a strong chemistry background and 1 to 3 years of experience. They should also be barred or have the ability to become barred in the state in which they will work. The firm is looking for driven individuals with a desire to develop their careers, work with a national/international client platform, and demonstrate superior client service ability. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities are a must.
