Our client is seeking a Patent Scientist or Patent Agent with a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field for their Chemistry & Life Sciences Patent Prosecution team in Winston Salem. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in Medical Sciences, Bioengineering, or Bioinformatics, and must be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills. Proficiency in technical writing is a plus. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology across various technical fields and is perfect for an enthusiastic scientist with excellent writing skills and an interest in intellectual property law. Responsibilities include preparing patent applications and responses to Office Actions from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with opportunities to work towards certification as a Patent Agent.
