Description
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a junior associate with 1-4 years of experience to join their Political Law practice group based in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will advise major corporations, trade associations, and advocacy groups on a complex web of federal, state, and local-level campaign finance, “pay-to-play,” ethics, and lobbying rules. Applicants must have experience with or a strong demonstrated interest in political law issues. The role may also provide an opportunity to work with the firm’s Exempt Organizations practice. While no tax-exempt experience is required, general knowledge of the field may be beneficial. All applicants must have strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work as a team player under deadline pressure.
