PRIVACY AND CYBERSECURITY ASSOCIATE (2242)
Description
Our client is seeking a junior associate with two to four years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity law to join their Chambers-ranked Privacy & Security practice in Silicon Valley (CA) or New York. The role involves working on business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and other technology transactions, as well as general commercial contracting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of federal, state, and international privacy laws, experience in due diligence for M&A and financings, drafting privacy and security policies, negotiating privacy-related contracts, providing product counseling, and conducting privacy compliance assessments. Superior academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and strong professional references are required. Experience with adtech and AI is desirable but not essential. Exceptional candidates with experience in M&A or technology transactions looking to transition to privacy and cybersecurity will also be considered.
