Description
Our client is seeking an associate attorney to join their dynamic Privacy & Data Security team. The ideal candidate will be able to advise clients in a wide variety of industries on privacy and security compliance, risk assessments, data security breaches, and more. The role involves navigating complex data protection regulations, drafting meticulous privacy policies, and counseling clients through the intricacies of safeguarding sensitive information in various transactions. The position requires expert legal advice on consumer-facing data privacy and cybersecurity compliance matters, including the CPA, CCPA, CPRA, COPPA, FCRA, FERPA, GDPR, GLBA, HIPAA, and TCPA. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in the privacy and cybersecurity space with demonstrated knowledge of technical aspects of complying with comprehensive privacy laws.
