Description
Our client, a globally recognized firm with a nationally-ranked sponsor finance group based in Chicago, is seeking a mid-to-senior level Finance Associate to join their Business & Finance Department. The successful candidate will be part of a team that represents a host of public and private companies, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, direct lenders, and investors in a variety of sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions and debt restructurings.
Ideal candidates should have approximately 3-6 years of substantive leveraged finance experience, with a diverse range of debt finance work including acquisition financings, dividend and other recapitalizations, asset-based facilities, general working capital facilities, and debt restructurings and reorganizations. While lender-side experience in middle market transactions would be advantageous, it is not a requirement.
The team operates in a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture and is committed to investing in the growth and advancement of all associates. The selected individual will join a team of sophisticated transactional attorneys, junior associates, and paralegals dedicated to the practice group, and will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully while assuming increasing levels of responsibility.
