Description
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a mid to senior level transactional associate to join their Corporate and Securities Practice Group. This role is part of the firm's Public Company Advisors Team, where the associate will work collaboratively as part of a multi-office team representing public company and other clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and at least three years of corporate and securities experience in a large regional or national law firm. Experience with 1933 Act equity and debt securities offerings, 1934 Act matters, and advising issuers on public company corporate governance matters is required. A strong understanding of national securities exchange regulations and principles of executive and director compensation is preferred. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in their jurisdiction or have the ability to become licensed as soon as possible.
