REAL ESTATE FINANCE ASSOCIATE (0561)
Description
Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a midlevel associate with a minimum of four years of experience in Real Estate Finance to join their team in either Washington, D.C., Baltimore, or Tysons. The ideal candidate will have experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or government-sponsored enterprises in commercial loan transactions. This includes reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan documents, managing legal due diligence, and closing complex commercial real estate transactions. Experience with multifamily lenders, and/or syndicated credit facilities is a plus, as is experience with loans secured by multifamily housing, seniors housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing, and/or hotels. The candidate should be comfortable training and managing junior associates and paralegals. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and an outstanding academic record are required. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar.
