REGULATORY ENERGY ATTORNEY (3839)

Description

Our client is seeking a sophisticated energy regulatory attorney to join their Energy Practice Group as a counsel-level attorney in Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, or Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with federal and state energy regulatory matters, particularly in renewable energy sectors such as solar, wind, storage, hydrogen, carbon, electric vehicles, and microgrids. Experience with oil & gas regulatory matters is advantageous. The role involves advising developers, sponsors, lenders, and investors on regulatory aspects of complex development and finance transactions, including equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating project documents like power purchase agreements. Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience, strong client relationship skills, project management expertise, and the ability to thrive in complex environments.
