Description
Our client is seeking a midlevel regulatory insurance associate to join their DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory and corporate law, with specific experience in forming companies, contracting for reinsurance agreements, drafting and negotiating program agreements, broker agreements, forming captive insurance companies, and advising on regulatory compliance matters. Responsibilities include advising clients on regulatory and corporate insurance matters, drafting and negotiating various agreements, assisting in the formation of captive insurance companies, conducting legal research, and representing clients in interactions with regulatory agencies. Qualifications include a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, admission to the bar in Washington, DC, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
