Description
Our client is seeking an Associate for their Securities & Capital Markets Department based in Pittsburgh. This department comprises over 50 attorneys specializing in securities and corporate finance matters for both public and private companies, including Fortune 100 companies and smaller reporting entities. The role involves assisting with corporate finance transactions, public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, and representing issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and selling stockholders. Additionally, the role includes helping clients meet reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act, listing requirements, and handling complex issues like tender offers, consent solicitations, and contested board elections. The ideal candidate should have 4 - 6 years of experience in securities, capital markets, and other transactional matters. This is a national search with a focus on candidates from New York, Charlotte, Richmond, Pittsburgh, or Washington, D.C.
