Description
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate, Counsel, or Senior Counsel with expertise in U.S. export controls (BIS), sanctions (OFAC), customs (including tariffs), and other international trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in counseling, training, licensing, opinion work, filings, compliance audits, internal investigations, responding to government enforcement actions, and developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures. Excellent communication and writing skills are essential, and candidates must be active members of the DC Bar or willing to apply within 90 days. Additional experience with FCPA investigations and national security matters (CFIUS) is preferred. Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school (U.S. JD required) and prior experience within a large law firm are advantageous.
