Description

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with a minimum of two years of litigation experience to join their dynamic team in Charlotte. This role involves representing corporate clients in Federal and State Courts, handling civil actions related to property damage, and collaborating with forensic experts to evaluate legal and financial viability in litigation. Key responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs, attending court hearings, and taking and defending depositions. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school, have excellent academic credentials, and be admitted to the North Carolina bar. Experience in product defect claims, property damage claims, or construction issues, along with proficiency in legal document drafting, research, and oral arguments, is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Willingness to travel as needed is also necessary.
