TAX ASSOCIATE (0183)

Our client, a top-tier law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join their Taxation Practice Group, preferably based in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Tampa, or Washington DC. The right candidate must have experience in tax matters related to fund formation, investment management transactions and partnership taxation. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transaction tax matters, as well as tax counseling experience for choice of entity, LLC agreement and tax-side transactional work is preferred. Candidates with strong writing, communication, interpersonal, analytical, drafting, and project management skills are desired. The candidate should hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school, with a background in tax, such as an LLM or concentration of classes in income tax-related subjects. The candidate must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where they are admitted to practice. Current judicial clerks need to apply directly.
