Description
Our client is seeking a highly qualified junior to midlevel associate to join their tax-exempt practice group in their DC office. The successful candidate will be part of a national team advising leading nonprofits, including public charities, private foundations, healthcare systems, universities, trade associations, and social welfare organizations, on tax, transactional, and regulatory matters. Qualifications include two to five years of law firm experience in tax law, tax-exempt organizations, transactional planning, corporate governance, and estate planning, along with strong written and oral communication skills, excellent project management and analytical abilities, and a strong academic record. An LL.M in tax is preferred, and candidates must be admitted to practice law in DC or eligible to waive in.
