Description
Our client is seeking a New York-based associate to join their Tax, Employment & Benefits Department, focusing on a variety of tax matters. The role involves advising clients on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private investment fund formations, and transactional planning for both public and private entities, including tax-exempt organizations. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating tax-related documentation for investment funds and transactions, as well as mentoring junior associates. Ideal candidates will have 3-7 years of experience in complex U.S. and international tax law, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York, or eligibility for quick admission, is required.
