Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Federal Tax Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join their team in New York, NY, or Los Angeles, CA, with a preference for New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and other strategic transactions, with experience in a broad-based federal transactional tax practice. Key responsibilities include handling domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, as well as taxation related to private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and REITs. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to taking on increased responsibilities.
