Description
Our client is seeking a junior associate to join their transactional tax practice group in New York. The U.S. tax practice offers comprehensive transactional tax planning services, risk management counseling, and representation before the IRS and state and local tax authorities. The role involves advising on new tax legislation, assisting in tax policy development, and representing clients before Congress and other governmental agencies. Candidates should have at least one year of transactional tax experience, strong research, writing, and analytic skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with cross-border tax structures, U.S. tax aspects of transactions, M&A, and partnerships is preferred. Applicants must have excellent academic credentials and be licensed or eligible to practice in New York.
