TAX CONTROVERSY ASSOCIATE (1110)

Description

Our client, a reputable law firm based in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an Associate with 0-5 years of tax controversy experience. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in tax controversy disputes, including audits, appeals, and litigation, and familiarity with substantive federal income tax issues. Experience in a corporate and partnership setting is advantageous. Previous experience in a law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, or Department of Justice (Tax Division) is desirable. While a degree in accounting, a CPA license, or an LL.M. in Tax is beneficial, it is not a requirement. The candidate should possess excellent academic and employment credentials, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as within a team environment involving extensive collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff is essential. The candidate must be admitted to practice in at least one state, with Texas being a plus. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply below or confidentially reach out at inquiry@khawajapartners.com.
