Description
Our client is seeking a Tax Controversy Counsel to join their Taxation and Wealth Planning Department. This role is open in multiple locations including Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; Greenville, SC; Miami, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; and West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of tax litigation experience, a Juris Doctorate (JD), and an LLM in Taxation. Applicants must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides. Experience in tax court, civil and criminal tax controversy, whistleblower claims, and voluntary offshore disclosures is preferred. Strong academic record and analytical skills are required. This job operates in a clerical, office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
