Description
Our client is seeking a tax associate with 3-6 years of experience in renewable energy project finance transactions at a major law firm. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing sponsors, investors, and/or tax credit buyers in tax equity and tax credit transfer transactions related to solar, wind, or energy storage projects. This role is part of a mission-driven practice group focused on clean energy and climate-friendly projects, representing innovators and their financiers. The team has been instrumental in pioneering various clean technology sectors, including utility-scale wind and solar, residential solar, energy storage, and electric vehicles, and is involved in a wide range of projects across the U.S. and internationally. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced partners, providing mentorship and significant client interaction with companies from start-ups to major international investors. Candidates should possess strong drafting, negotiating, and financial model review skills, along with excellent academic credentials and communication abilities.
