Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the Am Law 100, is seeking a dedicated associate to join their Technology, Communications and Media practice. The chosen candidate will represent an array of clients, including broadband and cable providers, programming networks, wireless service providers, trade associations and satellite operators, in regulatory, legislative, and litigation matters. Responsibilities encompass researching and drafting FCC pleadings, court motions, and other pleadings, managing the discovery process, strategizing on regulatory and legislative goals, advising on regulatory compliance, and assisting with due diligence for transactions. Collaboration is crucial to this position, with an expectation of office-based work approximately 60% of the time. Candidates must hold a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school and be eligible for admission in the District of Columbia. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, and collaborative team skills are requisite.
