Description
Our client, a globally recognized law firm, is seeking a midlevel patent litigation associate with a minimum of five years of experience to join their Intellectual Property Group. The role can be based in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, or Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, and extensive experience in all phases of patent litigation. This includes first-chairing depositions, writing expert reports, drafting and arguing motions, and arguing appeals. Industry experience in telecommunications, automotive, and other high tech industries is beneficial. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar. The firm's IP Litigation team is comprised of seasoned trial lawyers who have the technical knowledge required to tackle complex IP disputes.
