Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel level attorney to join their Trusts & Estates Department in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high net worth estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, and drafting wills and trust agreements. A strong background in post-mortem trust and estate settlement matters, including federal transfer taxes and California probate administration, is essential. The role involves working closely with trustees, executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other parties to provide guidance on tax reporting, administration, and disposition of estate assets. Candidates must possess excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects and people. Superior academic credentials and admission to the CA bar are required, with a preference for those with large or mid-size law firm experience.
