Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to focus on white-collar defense and compliance matters. The role involves representing corporate clients, financial institutions, and individuals in government investigations, internal investigations, and civil and criminal proceedings under the guidance of senior legal professionals. Key responsibilities include advising on legal strategy, developing compliance programs related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, export control, and sanctions laws, and counseling on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and regulations by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). The position requires conducting internal investigations, representing clients in government interactions, and preparing legal documents. The candidate will also engage in legal research across various jurisdictions and participate in client meetings, hearings, and strategy sessions.
