Our client, a prominent global law firm, is seeking a corporate mid-level associate to join their Chicago office. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, debt finance, and general corporate law. The role involves representing a diverse clientele, including private equity and venture capital funds, public and private companies from family-owned businesses to multinational corporations, and bank and non-bank lenders. Responsibilities include drafting transaction agreements, negotiating deal terms, managing transaction closings, conducting thorough legal and factual research, and effectively communicating with clients and team members.
