Our client, a prestigious law firm with a rich history dating back to 1834, is seeking an Associate to join its Corporate and Private Equity Department in their Chicago office. The department, comprising over 50 attorneys, specializes in a wide range of private equity transactions including leveraged buy-outs, independent sponsor transactions, rollups, minority and junior capital investments, and more. The firm is renowned for its representation of Small Business Investment Companies and consistently ranks among the top in national corporate law benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in private equity-led M&A transactions, and should be capable of leading such transactions from inception to conclusion.
