Description

Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (EBEC) practice. This position is based in New York, and NY Bar admission is a prerequisite. The EBEC team values a lifestyle-friendly and collaborative work environment and is composed of three partners and two associates. The practice serves a diverse range of corporate and non-profit clients across various industries. The firm operates on a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have employee benefits experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. They should be up-to-date with all new laws, court decisions, and government regulations affecting employee benefit plans. Comfort with face-to-face, telephone, and email communication is essential. Responsibilities include assisting clients in developing, drafting, implementing, and administering various compensatory arrangements, and handling the benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
